Laura has been caring for animals professionally since 2010. She began offering in-home pet care services in 2014 in Fargo, North Dakota. She has additional experience working at dog daycare and boarding facilities, assisting dog groomers by bathing, brushing and trimming nails, and working as a farm hand on an alpaca ranch. Laura has a background in veterinary science, having been a student in a veterinary technology program for 3 years and working as an assistant in veterinary clinic settings. Laura is Pet First Aid & CPR certified, Fear Free certified, she is a member of NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters), and a member of the Verde Valley Professional Pet Sitters Network (VVPPSN). She lives in Camp Verde with her partner Brian, cat Kiki, and golden retriever Ghost on the beautiful Verde River.

 

When booking services with Laura, you can expect to receive detailed reports with photos after every visit with your animals. Laura's highest priorities are the safety and comfort of your animals as well as open and ongoing communication with you while your animals are in her care. Animals are individuals who have dynamic needs, and 9 years of experience providing in-home pet care has taught Laura to expect the unexpected. Laura takes every necessary measure to set your animals up for success, and strives to show clients that she is capable and prepared to responsibly handle any incidents that may arise.
